It has been a privilege to serve as a Mayor in Anmore for the past year and a half. I am proud of my work as Mayor, and previously as a Councillor, and I have always worked towards promoting the values of Anmore residents. I have lived in Anmore since I was three years old and I can’t imagine living in any other community. Like most residents, I believe that maintaining the semi-rural environment in Anmore is extremely important. Although our community will continue to experience growth, we must ensure that the values of the Official Community Plan are evident in future developments. My hope is that all children in Anmore will have a similar childhood as I was fortunate to experience; where they can live close to nature, explore the forest near to their home and feel connected to their community. I believe that it is the strong sense of community, that Anmore has maintained for decades, makes this such a wonderful community we have chosen to call home.
